Excuse me while I do a little song and dance

I have FINALLY reached that point. The end of the tunnel. The last chapter in the book. The last day of the work week. The point where success is within reach and you just want to stand up, sing and shout, do a little dance, yell "yay for me, yay for me!!!"

It only took me five 5 1/2 years, (that included two summers) of undergrad school, always full-time status, to FINISH MY DEGREE!!! I am just FOUR short weeks from finishing, and boy does it feel amazing!! Cause for celebrating? Singing? Dancing? Shouting? Oh, I think so!!! :)

In the course of my five 5 1/2 years I managed to attend four different schools. That's right...F-O-U-R! Pretty impressive, huh? At least I was able to spend 2 1/2 at one and 2 1/2 at another, so I did not do too much wandering. Unfortunately, my decision to leave my current school after 2 1/2 years and change majors set me back the extra year and a half. I have no doubt it was the right decision, though...and now I owe my first born to Sallie Mae

As of November 9th, I will be a graduate of
With a degree in Human Service and Management & Minor in Spanish

On to grad school for me for a Masters in Human Service (concentration TBD)

WOOOOOHOOOO! 4 weeks! Amazing! So proud of you...a lot of other people would not have made the brave decisions you made, followed God's leading, or stuck with it with such dedication. I'm doing a little song and dance for you right now...in my heart of course (the other alternative would be too dangerous for a klutz like me :))

Yay for finishing. My educational career, thus far, has spanned 7 1/2yrs, with only one semester off, and one summer term, in 3 schools, 4 if you consider the 3 classes in Post Secondary Options. And I'm not done yet. Once I do return I'll (hopefully only) have another yr to go. I've got about 40 thou racked up right now, and my husband doesn't understand why I would want to finish. Because that's a lot of money for nothing to show for it! I'm definitely going to check into this program.

What does TBD stand for?

I love the chairs in the background of you prof pic.

One of my really good friend's name is Harmony. That earns your blog brownie points in my book.
